Ten Movies That Changed My Life (re-post)

Perhaps it would be advantageous to preface this post with some of my personal prerequisites for movies to be praised so prestigiously. (The clever use of alliteration is extra, folks. I'll be here all week.)

The movies on my list may have done one or more of the following:

First, they may have prompted in me an intense emotional reaction. Whether it was sadness, anger, compassion, laughter or fear, I have walked away from them feeling the experience for several weeks (or MONTHS) after. And I'm not exaggerating.
